The Last Ninja cover album in last day of crowdfunding campaign

Norwegian metal band FastLoaders are seeking funding to produce the tribute album Ninja Musicology. The album will feature rock remakes of all music from the Commodore 64’s The Last Ninja trilogy. The arrangements, written by Jarle H. Olsen, Bjarte K. Helland and Kjetil Nossum, will be performed on guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards. They’ll be packaged together in a specially-illustrated triple CD pack.

A tie-in concert featuring covers of The Last Ninja series will additionally be performed at London’s Underworld Club on October 15, 2016. Ben Daglish will perform and Matt Gray’s attendance is confirmed. If successful in achieving funding, a professionally recorded and edited concert Blu-ray will be released.

This ambitious project is close to achieving in 25,000 GBP goal on Kickstarter. However, it needs to raise another 3.5K in the next 15 hours if it is to be produced. All sorts of rewards are available to backers, including digital and physical CDs, digital and physical concert recordings, and tickets to the concert itself.
