Taku Inoue to leave Bandai Namco
Composer Taku Inoue has announced today via Twitter that he will be leaving Bandai Namco at the end of this month. “I was able to do the best job with the best colleagues at my best workplace and I was fortunate enough to be happy,” a rough translation of his tweet reads. “Everyone who took care of us, everyone who supported us, thank you very much!”

During his tenure at Bandai Namco, Taku Inoue scored music for some of the company’s most popular franchises, including several Ridge Racer, Tekken, THE IDOLM@STER, and Katamari titles. Inoue-san even had a hand in arranging music for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, a title which Bandai Namco developed.
