Soundtrack for Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS buyers
It was recently revealed that Super Smash Bros. for 3DS will feature an all-star cast of Namco, Nintendo, and freelance composers. It’s likely that the simultaneously-developed Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will take a similar approach. Seven samples of music from the games, ranging from Masashi Hamauzu‘s take on Kirby to Michiko Naruke‘s homage to Spirits Tracks, are available on the official site.
Club Nintendo have announced that customers who purchase and register both the 3DS and Wii U versions of the game will receive the Super Smash Bros. Premium Sound Selection. This two-disc album will features a compilation of tracks from the games. It’s not going to be a fully-fledged release, but it’s better treatment than the all-star soundtrack for Super Smash Bros. Brawl got. Track listings and musician details will be announced at a later date.
