RE:Play Expo creates game music venue for Houston
On July 2, RE:Play will host its second event that celebrates game music and gaming culture in Houston, Texas. The event will feature live music from a range of cover bands and chiptune-inspired artists like Danimal Cannon, Bit Shifter, and Dual Core. Additionally, several companies including Bravewave and Supergiant Games have sent in items for giveaways to attendees.
“RE:Play is an event created to celebrate the gaming culture, in particular the indie games,” says Cresendo Victor Sotuyo, RE:Play’s creator and director. “It is an experience for people to enjoy not only the games, but the music and people behind the games as well. This isn’t a typical gaming expo or con where studios buy tables and space and advertising; here, those are given to people who want to show something. We have a very open forum for them to come out and display what they have. We just love games. And we want to share that with everyone.”
The expo will take place July 2, beginning at 4 p.m. For more information on the event, visit RE:Play’s official website.
