NieR, NieR: Automata orchestral albums coming this fall
A recent VGMdb update has revealed Square Enix’s plans to release a set of orchestral arrangement albums for both NieR and NieR: Automata this fall. Fans of the cult classic Drakengard spinoff series will have the option to purchase either album separately or to purchase both as part of a special box set. While no arrangement team has been announced, listeners can expect to hear the somber and melodically-driven soundtracks by the the MONACA music team brought to new life in orchestral form.

In the meantime, all three options are available for preorder through links provided on Square Enix’s official teaser site.

It looks like a special bonus disc of arrangements is also included in the box set. Just the Kanagawa orchestra is listed for the accompanying concert (Sept 17, info here: http://www.square-enix.co.jp/music/sem/page/nier/orchestra_concert/), so perhaps there will be no vocals at all.
