Namco, Nintendo, and freelance composers team up for Super Smash Bros. 3DS
The soundtrack for Super Smash Bros. Brawl set the bar high with its huge, multi-artist soundtrack. Masahiro Sakurai took a similar approach for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, recruiting a team of big-name composers and arrangers to create the soundtrack.
As Namco Bandai Games are the main developers for the game, many members of their sound team were unsurprisingly involved in the production. In addition, several composers from Nintendo EAD and many of the biggest freelancers in the industry also made contributions to the project. A huge list of the musicians involved in the project is shown below.

Nintendo have also updated their official site with music samples from the soundtrack. They include an original composition from Namco’s Yoshihito Yano, a Pokemon battle arrangement by Yuzo Koshiro, and a Zelda arrangement by Michiko Naruke.
