Motoi Sakuraba scores Mario Sports Superstars
This week, Nintendo released Mario Sports Superstars for the 3DS. Motoi Sakuraba penned the music for the title, blending peppy original themes with arrangements of Nintendo classics.
While principally known for his work on RPG franchises such as Tales, Star Ocean, and Dark Souls, the artist has also scored all the Mario Tennis and Mario Golf video games to date. This title marks the latest in his long line of collaborations with developer Camelot Software Planning.
