Michiru Yamane tentatively attached to new game title

Another day, another Kickstarter campaign featuring a high-profile composer… It was announced today that Michiru Yamane (Castlevania, Skullgirls, Rocket Knight Adventures) is attached to the Kickstarter campaign for Flying Hamster II. You can view the video in which she pledges for people to contribute to the campaign below:

Yamane will apparently only score the project if it reaches its ambitious stretch goal of 250,000 USD. Later in their campaign, the organisers will announce that a further high-profile game composer is also attached to score the title. In addition, another unnamed composer who was responsible for this catchy main theme also seems to be involved in the soundtrack.

If the campaign is successful, those who pledge 25 USD or more will receive a digital soundtrack and those who pledge 80 USD or more will receive a physical soundtrack.

About the Author

I've contributed to websites related to game audio since 2002. In this time, I've reviewed over a thousand albums and interviewed hundreds of musicians across the world. As the founder and webmaster of VGMO -Video Game Music Online-, I hope to create a cutting-edge, journalistic resource for all those soundtrack enthusiasts out there. In the process, I would love to further cultivate my passion for music, writing, and generally building things. Please enjoy the site and don't hesitate to say hello!
