Materia Collective announces Majora’s Mask tribute album
Game music label Materia Collective has announced a massive new tribute album for The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, to be released in May. The announcement today coincides with the 18th anniversary of the game’s release on Nintendo 64 consoles in Japan.
Dubbed FATE: A Tribute to Majora’s Mask, the album will span nearly 80 tracks (almost as many as the original soundtrack itself), each featuring a different take on the music of Majora’s Mask by a different artist. The album will also be structured in three sections to reflect the three-day time cycle over which this haunting Zelda game takes place.
Pre-orders are now up for the album "FATE: A Tribute to Majora's Mask" from @MateriaColl. You can preview some of the tracks, including my orchestral arrangement of "Final Hours," featuring a flute solo by @laurentheflute. Go check it out!! https://t.co/HzXQ6Kipgl
