Last chance to back Matt Gray’s Reformation and Last Ninja albums

This month, Commodore 64 composer turned pop music producer Matt Gray has been fundraising so that he can return to producing game music. He launched a Kickstarter campaign to create a definitive set of remakes of his Commodore 64 classics, including from games such as The Last Ninja 2, Tusker, and Dominator.

With just hours left to go, the campaign has not only reached its main goals, but also met most of its stretch goals. As a result, Matt Gray will now produce a double-disc remake album, Reformation, as well as an entire rearranged soundtrack for The Last Ninja 2. While Matt Gray is arranging most of the music, Chris Huelsbeck will also now be contributing two tracks to the album.

Those who pledge 15 USD or more will be eligible to receive the digital download of Reformation, while those who pledge at higher levels can receive The Last Ninja 2 download, the physical albums, and other goodies. This is your last chance to get the album, so back it here now if you’re interested.

About the Author

I've contributed to websites related to game audio since 2002. In this time, I've reviewed over a thousand albums and interviewed hundreds of musicians across the world. As the founder and webmaster of VGMO -Video Game Music Online-, I hope to create a cutting-edge, journalistic resource for all those soundtrack enthusiasts out there. In the process, I would love to further cultivate my passion for music, writing, and generally building things. Please enjoy the site and don't hesitate to say hello!
