Grant Kirkhope releases The Enchanted Cave 2 soundtrack

Grant Kirkhope (Banjo-Kazooie, Perfect Dark) recently created the music for The Enchanted Cave 2, a retro-inspired dungeon crawler available on browsers and smartphones. This week, Kirkhope made the soundtrack for the game — featuring eight extended tracks — available to purchase through his Bandcamp. Filled with his distinctive lyricism and organic timbres, the soundtrack should be an enjoyable listen for fans of Kirkhope’s Banjo and Viva Piñata works.

After a turbulent period as an in-house sound director at Big Huge Games (Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning) and Spark Unlimited (Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z), Kirkhope has enjoyed huge success in the last year as a freelancer composer. Beyond The Enchanted Cave 2, Kirkhope’s music will be featured on several other indie titles later in the year: Hex Heroes, Lobodestroyo, and A Hat in Time.
