Full sound team for Zelda: Breath of the Wild revealed
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be released this week as a launch title for the Nintendo Switch. The end credits for the game reveal the long-speculated question of who is behind the sound and music for the latest instalment.
The sound director for the title is Hajime Wakai (Pikmin series, Star Fox series), who also previously led the score for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. As we previously confirmed, Manaka Kataoka (Animal Crossing series, The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks) is the lead composer for the title. She was also joined by relative newcomer Yasuaki Iwata (Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World). Series’ veteran Koji Kondo had no involvement. The full credits are below:

Special editions of Breath of the Wild will come with a soundtrack CD featuring 24 selected tracks. An official soundtrack for the title has yet to be confirmed.
