Child of Light music and soundtrack details
On April 30, Ubisoft Montreal’s Child of Light will become available for download worldwide. Created by singer-songwriter Cœur de Pirate (aka Béatrice Martin), the “intimate and nostalgic” soundtrack for the title promises to beautifully complement the fairytales visuals. The soundtrack switches between magical, organic piano-led pieces for the platforming gameplay to bombastic, full-orchestral boss pieces.
Dare to Care Records will release the soundtrack to Child of Light a day before the game. The 18 track release will include both solo and chamber performances led by pianist and vocalist Cœur de Pirate, as well as orchestral music arranged by Anthony Rozankovic and performed by the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra. The album will be available for 9 USD as a digital download and 12 USD as a physical CD through Cœur de Pirate’s Bandcamp.
