Soundtrack for Out There Omega Edition released
Siddhartha Barnhoorn, a Dutch film and video game composer, has released his latest soundtrack through Bandcamp. Out There Omega Edition features the extended soundtrack for the sci-fi space title of the same name. The soundtrack is an extended version of the original mobile version, the soundtrack for which was released in 2014.
The Omega Edition soundtrack features 18 new music tracks, with most tracks being around one minute. In contrast, the original Out There game used five music tracks, with the main gameplay track being close to eight minutes. Some of the five music tracks from the original soundtrack have been updated for the Omega Edition. The shorter music tracks in Omega Edition act as introductory music for each different type of star a player discovers. From yellow dwarfs to supernovae to neutron stars, which are very dangerous and have a lot of power, to red giants and also black holes but those are dangerous places as well.
For the garden planets, which sustain life, there are three special ambient tracks that feature ethereal vocals by Lara Ausensi (Forest Kingdom II, Shevannai – The Voice of Elves). The album can be previewed in full on Bandcamp and purchased for 5 USD.
