Four new albums available through Video Games Live crowdfunder
little over a year ago, Tommy Tallarico ran a Kickstarter campaign to develop Video Games Live Level 3, which we reviewed here. This week, he launched a campaign to produce Video Games Live Level 4 and several bonus albums. Just a few days into its campaign, the concert is over two thirds of the way to reaching its lofty 150,000 USD goal. The campaign pitch can be viewed below:
The album will feature orchestral performances of multiple video game favourites, including Donkey Kong Country, League of Legends, Earthworm Jim, and Final Fantasy VI‘s opera. The album will be recorded, mixed and mastered in world famous recording studios with a 72+ piece orchestra of world class musicians as well as international video game composers.
Backers who pledge 10 USD or more are eligible to receive a digital download of the album, as well as a bonus compilation album. Those who pledge higher amounts are also eligible to receive a slew of bonus content, including physical albums, a piano album dedicated to the Chrono games, a remix album dedicated to the Streets of Rage series, and several of Tallarico’s soundtracks.
