Retro-inspired electronic soundtrack to Scram Kitty released
The old-school shooter Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails was recently released on the Wii U to the delight of players. Today, the retro-influenced electronic soundtrack for the title has been made available through Bandcamp. The soundtrack features all 25 tracks from the game, as well as two bonus edits.
The soundtrack for the title was written by developer Dako Dako’s in-house sound and music producer, Samuel Baker. When we asked him about the influences for the soundtrack, he noted that “The game has strong influences from the 16-bit era, both visually and in terms of gameplay, and the music fits with that. Super Aleste (aka Space Megaforce) on the SNES was a strong influence, as was Bangai-O.”
