Yuko Komiyama and other new recruits join Unique Note
Since 2009, newly-married ex-Capcom composers Tetsuya Shibata and Yoshino Aoki have run the music production company Unique Note. Since this time, they have produced sound and music for major titles such as the anime series Nikosei Wii RPG Earth Seeker , and numerous dramatic plays, smartphone titles, and pachinko machines.
In the past six months, Unique Note has significantly expanded with the addition of three new artists: Yuko Komiyama (pictured), a Capcom veteran best known for leading the soundtracks to Monster Hunter 3, Mega Man X7, and Mega Man X8; Yasuyuki Yamazaki, a recently-graduated composer and flautist; and Yoshihei Ueda, who will focus on sound design and sound engineering at the company. These new additions will allow Unique Note to work on more projects and emerge as an industry leader.
