Nintendo gives insight into ‘Jump Up, Super Star!’
Nintendo of America tweeted today about the Mario series’ first vocal theme song ‘Jump Up, Super Star!’ from Super Mario Odyssey. Several genres of music were explored but the composers settled on jazz to match the game’s vibes. You can check out the video of the recording session below.

‘Jump Up, Super Star!’ was runner-up in our 2017 Game Music Awards in the best vocal theme category and the soundtrack to Super Mario Odyssey is available to purchase, with more details here.
