Ben Prunty releases Into the Breach Original Soundtrack
Today saw the release of Into the Breach, a tactical RPG set in a futuristic war. The latest from Subset Games, Into the Breach brought back FTL: Faster Than Light composer Ben Prunty to write the soundtrack. Prunty took the music in a very different direction from his breakthrough score. The soundtrack is 26 tracks long and despite an electronic approach, also incorporates some distinct instrumentation, including cello, electric guitar, and piano.
Ben Prunty has released several scores since his work on 2012’s FTL, including Gravity Ghost, Dead Secrets, and two tracks to Frog Fractions 2. Into the Breach Original Soundtrack is available now on Steam and on Bandcamp, with additional releases on other platforms tentatively planned for the future.
