Weifan Chang to score Star Diffusion

CELAD, Inc., the Taiwanese dev team behind “Sakura Scroll” and The Children of Doomsday”,  has announced composer Weifan Chang as the composer to Star Diffusion, a top-down horror game. Chang is no stranger to composing for horror games, as one of his latest projects included composing the music for Detention, a survival-horror game infused with Taiwanese historical and cultural elements – including in its soundtrack.

“I thoroughly enjoy horror games, and always wear headphones while playing,” says Fate Yaiba, CELAD’s producer. “I had met Weifan Chang through serendipity, and his music impressed me very much. Therefore, when the development of “Star Diffusion” came to music producing stage, the first person I thought of was Weifan Chang.”

The music, which can be previewed in the title theme above, blends ambiance with some haunting melodies, as is custom with Chang’s usual style..

About the Author

A native and lifelong Texan, I currently work in software education while contributing news, reviews, and interviews to VGMO on the side. I love the feeling that comes with the discovery of a brand new soundtrack, and always look forward to the next rekindling of that excitement. Outside of VGMO, I enjoy playing piano, listening to classical music and film scores, and trying to go unnoticed in any stealth RPG I can find.
