Transformers: Devastation score pays homage to classics
The newly-released Transformers: Devastation, developed by PlatinumGames and published by Activision, was much more of a tribute to the Transformers’ animations than Michael Bay’s movies. Its soundtrack followed suit, with plenty of guitar-fuelled rock tracks and cheesy theme songs inspired by Vince DiCola himself.
The soundtrack for the title was principally composed by Satoshi Igarashi and implemented by Masami Ueda, both of Bayonetta 2 fame. It also features composition and guitar performers from Unique Note’s Tetsuya Shibata and Jun Okubo.
