Jack Wall returns for Call of Duty: Black Ops III
It was recently confirmed that veteran video game composer Jack Wall (Mass Effect series, Myst series) will be penning the soundtrack for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Having received great critical acclaim for his soundtrack for Black Ops II, Treyarch invited him to pen the latest instalment in the Black Ops subseries.
Wall placed a strong focus on enhancing both the gameplay and storyline for the title with a mixture of interactive in-game tracks and cinematic cues. He recently recorded the soundtrack for the title with a full orchestra in Nashville, Tennessee.
A digital soundtrack for Black Ops III will be available for those who purchase the Limited Edition version of the game. A stand-alone soundtrack release is likely, but has yet to be announced. Black Ops III will be released for Xbox One / 360, PlayStation 3 / 4, and PC on November 6.
