Submissions for “Fan Favorite” category of VGMO’s 2019 annual awards now open
It’s that time of year – we’re starting to round up our favorite soundtracks of 2019 for our Annual Game Music Awards! As with the past two years, we will be including a “Fan Favorite” category, where our readers and fellow soundtrack enthusiasts can vote on their favorite video game soundtracks of 2019.
This category will be entirely decided on by the public; anybody is welcome to submit three game soundtracks released for the first time this year (either in-game or as an official soundtrack release) to be entered. Entries are due December 27 at 11:59, Pacific Time. At the end of December, we will post the top five submitted soundtracks as nominations in the “Fan Favorite” category, alongside all of our other categories. The winner will be announced in January of 2019.
Submit your favorite 2019 game soundtracks here!
The ninth awards ceremony of this kind, the AGMAs are intended to celebrate achievement across the game audio industry and give recognition to the incredibly creative people working in it. While ‘best music’ and ‘best sound’ categories are featured in other video game awards, the majority of these awards only commemorate top-selling video games and overlook other often-excellent productions (e.g., import and indie soundtracks). The winners will be announced in January.

It looks like this is the same form as was used last year? When I go to the page, it says I already entered.
Hey Benton – thanks so much! It’s been updated – you should be able to fill it out now.
I casted my vote again this year. I have to say that I’m very curious about the results. These awards always introduce me to a lot of stunning video game soundtracks.
I may or may not have asked this question last year, so please forgive me if I’m repeating myself;
Would soundtracks for expansions/DLC count if said content was released this year?
(i.e. Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, Borderlands 2: Commander Lillith & the Fight for Sanctuary, etc etc).
You can! Sorry for the delay!
Thank you for the response! & no worries.
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, Borderlands 3 and Borderlands 2: Commander Lillith & the Fight for Sanctuary have my vote
I put my money down for Sayonara Wild Hearts, Dicey Dungeons, and The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors / Ninja Warriors: Once Again. 🙂
